Emily Bomortino Receives Chancellor's Research Fellowship

Emily Bomortino

Congratulations to Emily Bomortino for receiving the Chancellor's Research Fellowship for her research entitled "Delivery of Neuregulin-1 through an Osmotic Transport Device". The Chancellor's Research Fellowship (CRF) is a competitive award that supports undergraduate Center for Undergraduate Research and Engaged Learning in faculty-mentored research and creative activity projects. The award provides $5,000 for a summer research stipend and an additional $750 for expenses. This award is open to students in all disciplines.

Fourteen applicants were recognized as a Chancellor’s Research Fellow, and are part of an elite group of UCR undergraduate students that meet monthly throughout the academic year. This fellowship provides an enhanced learning context for the selected undergraduate researchers, including the opportunity to interact with the UCR Chancellor, other key UCR officials, and with distinguished visiting guest speakers. Fellows are expected to attend and participate in special campus events.
