Cynthia Cortes represented the B2K at the 2023 SACNAS Convention held in Portland, Oregon in October. Cynthia presented her work on experimental characterization of lift-off and inertial focusing of microchips in rectangular microchannels. SACNAS focuses on opening doors for underrepresented minorities in the STEM fields by providing students and professionals the opportunities and resources they need to advance in their education and careers.
